Finding our Soul Tribe
When we are making a beautiful
environment for ourselves, we need not do it alone. In our own little nests, we
have our families and close friends who deeply care for us. Some of us have
significant others whom we dream of forming new families with. And we still
have a lot of potential connections waiting to be made in the future. Yes, this
blog post is about networking – but it is not the type of networking that is
made for businesses, job prospects, or monetary gain – instead, it is about
connecting to our soul tribe, to the people who can further enrich our lives
with love and beauty.
“If you want to go
fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go with others.” – African Proverb
Having a community that you trust and you feel a deep connection with is a form of abundance. Once you have formed beautiful networks with beautiful people, there might come a day where you won’t long for belonging and love and care from the public anymore. When you surround yourself with people who truly care for you, your heart will thank you and it will be easier to nurture your inner beauty.
Forming connections and finding your soul tribe implies action. Actively look for people whom you have a soul connection with, make the connection, then take care of it. From your comfortable nest of family and close friends, expand your nest and try making it international since the age of internet already makes it easier for us. Nowadays, there are no obstacles for making connections anymore. Technology is advanced compared to decades or centuries ago. Also, there is an abundance of people to connect with, as we can connect both with living people as well as with good spirits from the other side.
However, make sure you only connect with people who are good for you. Why connect with a Mafia where you will get the short end of the stick? I, for example, want to connect with these people who can be helpful to my personal growth:
Spiritual people
They may love crystals, tarot cards, and divination; they may be psychic intuitives; they may be spiritual teachers or guides; or they may just be people next-door with a deep spiritual understanding. I love surrounding myself with spiritual people who understand my interests with astrology, numerology, reincarnation, and angels because I know that they will not judge me or find me strange.
Older people
Older people are usually wise. They have gone through life and have accumulated lots of wisdom to pass onto those who are willing to listen and be mentored. And because my deceased grandmother is my soul mate, I have a soft spot for old people and I always listen to their advice.
Children
Being with children connects me to my inner sparkle, my inner child. They remind me to have zest for life, to be true to myself, and to be creative. And they easily melt my heart especially if they want me to take care of them.
Beauty and Fashion Enthusiasts
My heart is the happiest in the field of beauty and fashion, so I like connecting to people who are enthusiasts, or may be experts in those fields. I learn from them, I enjoy seeing their work, and I am one of them. Like me, they obviously want to make the world a more beautiful place. Our sense of purpose connects us together. And lastly,
Women
I love surrounding myself with feminine energy. I know that not all women are good, especially those that are super competitive and envious of other women, but I like the energy of women in general. The feminine energy is nurturing, accepting, understanding, patient, and creative. Being exposed to such a masculine and patriarchal society, I sometimes crave the company of women (mothers, sisters, female friends) in order to calm and balance myself out.
I know that some of us are
introverts, but having your own loving community is a really powerful thing.
There is strength in numbers. We should help each other out in order to thrive
in this world. Expand your nest and make a castle that only loving and
beautiful people can visit. Appreciate each one of them and you will be
appreciated back. While networking for business and monetary purposes is
important, networking for our emotional and spiritual needs must not be
neglected. Because through this, we can create our own little world to spread
love and beauty – a world where toxic competition, betrayal, and one-upping are
not allowed.
